Which Fees Apply to Your Case?
If applying for an E-2 visa directly from the consulate, the I-129 fee is not paid. If E-2 status is requested from within the USA, the DS-160/MRV fee does not arise at that stage. The investment amount is not a government fee.
Final Check Before Payment
Government fees may vary and an incorrect amount may result in the application being rejected. Re-check the USCIS G-1055 schedule and Department of State fee page immediately before paying. This page was updated on September 20, 2026.
